Mediation Workshop: Mother vs Bank Savings Plan? Insurance Policy?

About this CPD Event:

The course covers a lecture on the aspects of how to identify interests, what mediator would work with parties and plan for negotiation with an interactive practice session. It provides an opportunity for mediators/arbitrators to familiarize with the intake process of the FDRC mediation and revision of negotiation skills in handling a financial dispute.

Speakers :

·         Ms. Jody Sin

·         Ms. Jody Sin was admitted as a solicitor in High Court of Hong Kong in 1993. She had a broad civil litigation practice and was the Senior Professional Support Lawyer in DLA Piper Hong Kong before she left the firm. Starting in October 2011, Jody has become a full time mediation practitioner. She is an accredited mediator of Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL), Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and the Law Society of Hong Kong. Jody is also an adjunct lecturer of University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE) and has been a trainer of accredited mediation courses. She is currently the immediate past Chairperson of Hong Kong Mediation Council and a director of Joint Mediation Helpline Office.
