Appointment and Re-appointment to the Board of Financial Dispute Resolution Centre

(28 February 2022) - Financial Dispute Resolution Centre (FDRC) today announced the appointment of Mr. Tang Nai-pan as a Director of the FDRC Board for a two-year term from 1 March 2022 to 29 February 2024, both dates inclusive. Mr. Tang will succeed Mr. Tong Hon-shing who will retire from the Board with effect from 1 March 2022.

Mr. Tang is currently the Executive Director, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Risk Officer of China CITIC Bank International Limited. He is also the Convenor of the Economic and Financial Market Research Committee of Chinese Banking Association of Hong Kong. Mr. Tang has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry and has accumulated experience in treasury, compliance and risk management from banking institutions over the years.

The FDRC also announced the re-appointment of Mr. Gary Cheung and Prof. Wong Kam-fai, MH as Directors for a two-year term with effect from 1 March 2022 and 31 March 2022 respectively.

Meanwhile, the FDRC expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Tong, the retiring Director, for his valuable support to the work of the FDRC in the past six years.
