Adverse Weather and other Conditions
In case of extreme conditions, hoisting of typhoon signals No.8 or above, or black rainstorm warnings (“adverse weather conditions”), the office hours of FDRC will be adjusted as follows:
A. The FDRC will be closed when adverse weather conditions:
(a) are declared before the office hours of FDRC; or
(b) remain in force at or after 2:00 pm.
B. The FDRC will resume its service 2 hours after the adverse weather conditions have been cancelled, provided that those
signals or conditions are cancelled before 2:00 pm.
The FDRC will contact the parties involved to reschedule any pre-arranged meetings if necessary.
Note:
Pre-arranged services include:
- Public enquiry meeting
- Mediation session
- Information seminar
- Training for mediators / arbitrators
